Nimbus Labs has announced the Aria chip, a low-power processor designed to run translation and transcription models entirely on-device.
The company says the chip trades some raw accuracy for latency and privacy, aiming at travelers and field workers with unreliable connectivity.
Early units are expected to ship in developer kits before a wider consumer rollout later in the year.
