A battery recycling startup says its refined chemical process now recovers around 95 percent of usable lithium from retired battery packs.
The company avoids the high-temperature smelting step common in older recycling methods, which it says cuts energy use significantly.
It has signed early agreements with two regional e-bike manufacturers to supply recycled material.
